A REAL TASK, MADE CLEARER

Which pictures belong in the album?

A shared photo shortlist gathers each person’s choices around the same images. In Frametta, people compare and choose from a review link, then submit when they are ready. The organizer can see the submitted choices.

After a trip, upload a manageable set of favorites and ask each person to choose a few. Group them by day or location if that makes the choice easier. There is no need to interpret “the one above the sunset”.

FROM OPTIONS TO A NEXT STEP

Give the review a little structure.

  1. Start with a small collection

As the organizer, upload JPEG or PNG photos you have permission to share. Give the board a purpose, such as choosing images for a printed album.

  2. Invite a second pair of eyes

Share a board review link. People can compare on a phone and change their shortlist while it is still a draft.

  3. Make the answer explicit

Ask people to submit their choices when finished. An unfinished draft and a sent selection are different states, so you know which answers are ready.

  4. Bring the chosen files together

The organizer can review submissions and download selected originals. Decide what belongs in your album without copying file names from separate chats.

BEFORE YOU SHARE

Make a useful request.

Best for a bounded choice among photos or invitation ideas, with one person organizing the collection.

Available in the local studio

Personal workspace, mobile image comparison, selection limits, drafts, submitted choices and organizer ZIP downloads. Separate evaluation boards add 1–5 scores or abstention. Only the board owner sees live totals; admitted participants see totals after closure while their access is valid.

What is still being developed

Joint guest uploads, anonymous voting and automatic album creation are not available. Criteria scoring and final approval are separate planned workflows.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Questions before you start

Do my friends need to create an account?

Permitted guest selections can use a review link without an editor account. The organizer needs an account to save a real board; the sample demo can be explored without one.

Will everyone see everyone else’s choices?

The organizer sees submitted selections. This preview does not provide a public voting scoreboard or promise anonymous votes.

Is this a photo backup or a public social album?

No. It is a place to make a choice from a collection. Keep your own backups. Private boards are separate from the licensed public examples, and a review link can be revoked.
